My blogging experience
Hi. I always wanted to improve my english skills, but I never had the chance to do it. Even in school, I didn’t have this chance. We had english class, but our teacher talked all the time. We only used english to answer some questions she asked to us. But now it's is different (probably because we are 11, and in the school we were 45). Now we have the opportunity to improve our skills.
One of this skills is writing. That’s why writing in our blogs is one of the main parts of this class. While you are writing, you can feel you are improving. And it feels good.
I have improved my fluency, for example. In school, when I had to redact my answers in the english tests, I had to think a lot before writing my answer. But now, I can write longer texts, in less time and with less grammar mistakes.
So, as you can see I enjoy this activity a lot. The only part I don’t like is the deadline. Sometimes we have a lot to do, and we have to write the post too fast. That’s why I think deadline should be Sunday, at midnight. We could even learn more, because we would not be distracted by other issues, as genetics, sociology, etc.
I’m not good at english. That’s why writing in the blog has been fundamental to me. Probably you are wondering why I didn’t do this before, by my own. Well, because the teacher role is too necessary. How can I improve my english skills if nobody is there to correct my mistakes?
Activities like this one should be implemented in all shools, and not just in the University. By doing this, the educational level of Chile would improve significantly.

What would your ideal job be?
I'd never thought in an ideal job before. I guess it would be a judge. But no like the judges you can see in the court, with their formal suit and their hammer. I’d like to be a judge, but with no restrictions. Without the wall that the law means.
Sometimes, I turn on my TV and I can hear a journalist saying: “J.L. was released, because there wasn't “”enough”” evidence to prove his guilt”. Everyone knows that he did it, because the police found him with the money, and he had been found in the same situation a lot of times before, but there is nothing anyone can do.
Humans aren’t perfect. Laws were created by humans, so laws can not be perfect. That’s something we can all understand. That’s the reason why I think that there should be someone who could judge people with no limitations. Maybe not me, because I would be too severe. Someone that had the power to make this a better world for all of us, by cleaning the society of the people that can not understand that we all must work together.
“Why are you so extremist?” maybe you are thinking. “These people can improve and become better human beings. We have to give them the chance to prove that they can be good people, and a contribution to our society”. Well, I desagree. Most of them are like that(thieve, rapists, etc.) because the society hurt them too much. That’s why they think that their obligation is to damage the rest of the people that are part of this society. Probably they can change. I don´t question that. But I don’t want to risk my family’s integrity for them.

Free Post - Mishima Yukio
Why did I choose Mishima Yukio (which real name was Kimitake Hiraoka) to write this post? Because of his perseverance. We, the medicine students, are used to complain about how hard the classes are, and how we don't have much time for ourselves. Yukio would laugh on us, if he was still alive. Unfortunately, he decided to kill himself in 1970. This suicide is really famous, because he and four members of the Tatenokai (Shield Society), a society that he had founded, tied a commandant in his office. After a speech, Yukio killed himself by seppuku (also known as harakiri). But it was not what he was expecting...
Seppuku is a suicide ritual, in which the person cut his stomach with a knife. Then comes a helper, which cut his head off with a Katana (a japanese sword). The member of the Tatenokai who was in charge of cutting Mishima's head off, tried several times to do it, but he couldn't do it. So another member had to cut his head off. This ritual had been planned by Mishima for a year, and he was really excited about it.
He wrote a lot of books, like "Utage no Ato", "Shiosai", "Kamen no Kokuhaku", etc. I had just read one, because in Chile is too difficult to find is work. It's "Kinkakuji" (The Gold Pavilion). It became an important part of my life, and it will be my favorite book until the moment I die, probably. If you wanna know more about this amazing book, you will have to read it.
So, next time you feel down because of all the work you have to do, think that Yukio is laughing on you.
